Monday Morning 1st Blood Test

Well - we needed even MORE proof ... and the blood test seemed like the obvious next step. We called our reproductive endocrinologist to let them know we had a positive test and no period ... they wanted Shannon to come in that day for a blood test. YAY!

A few hours after the blood draw our "favorite" nurse Nan called with an out of character excitement to her voice and said we are in fact DEFINITELY PREGNANT!

The next step was another blood draw on Wednesday to make sure the hormone levels were increasing properly. Following that would be our first ULTRASOUND on September 5th. Of course that is when we REALLY REALLY know we are pregnant, when we can see an image of ...something, right???
